Vocalise: Happy Articulation Warm-Up

Happy Articulation Warm-Up

This is a tongue twister warm-up that my mother taught me back when I was a kid.

For the lyrics I’ve used IPA and an English-specific spellings.

You don’t have to transpose at all unless you really want to. But you should change the initial consonant each time you sing then pattern. So start with “b” then “d” (c doesn’t really have an inherent sound unless you want to use “ch”) then “f”, “g”, “h”, and so on. By the time you get done, your articulators should be ready to go!
