This weekend, PhoebeJoy Wong and I will be performing Franz Schubert’s gorgeous and moving Die schöne Müllerin at the Branigan Cultural Center in downtown Las Cruces. The music begins at 2:00 PM, but PhoebeJoy will deliver a presentation on the cycle if you are inclined to learn more. The performance is free but I’ll be performing in L’Elisir d’amore and Die Schöne Müllerin in Spring 2010. 2010 has begun, and with it comes a new set of challenges. Last Spring, I began the transition to singing tenor repertoire. I did several recitals, a Simon and Garfunkel show at Boba Cafe Cabaret, and the tenor solos in Mendelssohn’s St. Paul.
